Some of the poems that didn't make it in to the pamphlet. Not that they weren't good enough!*

TEAM JESUS
Too slow at polo?
Plain wrong at ping pong?
Football and rugger an absolute bugger?
Couldn't mix it at cricket?
Too tense for fencing?
A case of lumbago made judo a no-go?
A tool in the pool?
A loss at lacrosse?
Too small for hockey, too big for a jockey?
Sport's not fair, don't despair, Join a team full of winners.
It's called TEAM JESUS! (and we accept sinners).
LOVE SONGS IN AGE
A hint of sweet ardour, something suggested
Through a shy alluring glance
To catch of eye contact, an opportunity
Taken, given the chance
Anticipation is the seat of all pleasure
A glimpse, a gait, a taste
Your eyes entrusted, my wild loins thrusted
An instinct too sensual to waste
Your smell seemed somehow familiar
Like cut grass, a fruit, a pipe
And in one brief moment my heart became yours
When we met semi-naked on Skype
